![]() "If YOU had bought more than enough water than why would they run out of water?" - why am I buying water anyway? "I feel like I'm being attacked here." - lol "Well, it wasn't a problem because I had the bartenders go out to get the mint and the lemonade AND I reimbursed them, so what's the problem?" - well then why did no one get lemonade? "I saw your text but I was at the concert and couldn't call them and tell them what you told me." - not my problem, you should've communicated! Instead of listening to understand, she was quick to give excuses: After texting Kristine to see what happened, she gives me a call but was immediately defensive. Two days later, I went back to the venue to pick up leftover stuff and found all the lemonade still in the fridge, along with all the lemons, limes, and blueberries we had purchased. To be clear, I think the bartenders themselves were fine, but they clearly were not on the same page with what Kristine and I had discussed. My father in law was turned away when he asked for lemonade, which was strange. I told her there were at least 4 cases of bottled water in the fridge. The day of the wedding comes, and my wedding coordinator comes up to me asking about water. I sent Kristine a text to inform her all of this, hoping she would pass the info along. I also told her I couldn't find mint when I went to get mixers so I asked if her bartenders could get it for the mojitos. The day before my wedding, I dropped off all the mixers as discussed, and chilled cases of bottled water and 10 gallons of lemonade in the beverage fridge at the wedding venue. She assigned two other bartenders to come in her place but never passed along their contact info to me, even though I asked for their names and cell numbers to pass along to my wedding coordinator. Oh and this was VERY important for me to know: her mint DIED because of the heat this summer (omg!) and I would need to find mint. I really believed that everything would run smoothly.Ī few days before my wedding, she called to let me know that she forgot she had a concert to go to and would no longer be the lead bartender. She also assured me that it was going to be herself and her husband bartending so I felt confident that she was on the same page with me about what the event would look like. She said she'd bring mint from her garden for mojitos. She helped me come up with a menu, consulted me on amounts of everything to buy, and we talked about ice delivery, mixer drop-off, etc. My experience with Kristine was perfectly fine in the months leading up to my wedding day.
